Other Types Of Insurance

Mutual of Omaha offers other types of insurance that compliment Medicare Supplements.  Medicare doesn’t cover everything so be sure to cover your bases.

The most common types of plans that Medicare beneficiaries shop for is Dental insurance, a Final Expense plan and Long Term Care insurance.  Mutual of Omaha is a leading provider for all three of these plans.

Dental insurance is available through age 99 and there’s no pre-existing conditions to consider.  You can choose from two levels of coverage based on your needs and budget.

Final Expense insurance is whole life insurance that’s paid directly to the beneficiary.  The death benefit will never change and the premiums are guaranteed to remain the same for life.

Long Term Care insurance pays for nurses, home healthcare aids, and facility fees either in an assisted living, nursing facility.  Medicare pays for medically necessary care not custodial care.   If you want insurance to pay for help in your own home or in a facility, you should consider an additional policy to help pay those charges.  You have to be healthy enough to be accepted so don’t wait until it’s too late.
