How Much Will You Pay For An Allstate Medicare Supplement Plan N?

The prices below are accurate rates provided by CGS Actuarial Systems by Allstate and were calculated on August 5, 2024.  The Plan N rates below reflect all available discounts available in that state.  They may include extra discounts for living with another adult, joining a spouse or partner, qualifying for a Preferred rate, and using a fitness device like an Apple watch or Fitbit.    Since most seniors pay Medicare Supplement premiums monthly,  we used the Annual discount rate. We divided it into 12 so you can compare the difference to the monthly rate you’re paying now.  You’ll see how much you can save with Allstate.

The cost can change anytime, not just at the beginning of a calendar year.  They can go up in specific zip codes, down in some, and not at all in others.

Allstate allows you to lock in your rate six months in advance.  So even if they change the price before your policy starts, you’ll lock into the lower cost.

Medicare Supplement rates are based on many factors, including your state of residence, zip code, gender, and age.  In certain circumstances, other things determine the rate, like being new to Medicare Part B, height/weight, and tobacco use.

You can get real-time instant Medicare Supplement rates using the quoting tool below.  You won’t initially be able to see the company’s name, but a good rule of thumb is that Allstate will be one of the top 5 companies in most states.   If you pay your insurance premiums one time a year instead of monthly or live with another adult at least age 50, there’s a good chance they’ll have the lowest premiums.  If you’re interested, provide your name, phone number, and email address, and you’ll be able to see the company associated with the rate.

No worries…you won’t get inundated with phone calls, texts, or emails by multiple agents.  We know that if you made it to this page, you’re a natural person and someone serious about their insurance.  Even if you’re not ready to apply and just curious with questions, that’s O.K., too.  We know that if we provide you with transparent, no, hassle service, you’ll come back when you’re ready.

Allstate Medicare Supplement Discounts

Allstate offers five different discounts, but it depends on where you live, if the discount is available, and the actual discount percentage.  Determining the exact amount without calculating the rate on computer software is nearly impossible. Still, you can get a general idea by applying the percentages to the rates on the quoter.

  • Household discount (3%-7%) if you live with another adult
  • Dual-Household discount (10%) if you are enrolling with a spouse or partner
  • Annual-pay discount (10%)
  • Activity Tracker discount (5%) for registering your Fitbit, Apple Watch, or Google device – not available in Idaho, Ohio, and Texas
  • Preferred Select discount (5%) for nontobacco users who have not been treated for depression in the last five years and fall within the height and weight guidelines – not available in California, Minnesota, or Ohio

Prices are zip code specific, so we can’t list every zip, age, gender, tobacco status, or qualifying discount. You see where I’m going with this.  You can see in the chart below some sample rates based on age in a few different cities in the US.

What Does Plan N Cover?

The plan is a lower level of coverage available for anyone who turned on or after January 1, 2020.  It won’t cover everything that Plans G and F do.  You are responsible for the annual Medicare Part B Deductible, the nominal amount you’ll need to pay before your Plan N pays, except for Medicare-covered preventive services. You’ll also pay $20 for office visits, $50 for emergency room visits if you’re not admitted, and any Part B Excess charges.

Plan N picks up the following costs:

  1. 20%  of Part B outpatient services not covered by Medicare
  2. 80% for Foreign Travel emergencies up to $50,000 after a $500 deductible
  3. Blood
  4. Hospice
  5. Some medications
  6. Hospital coinsurance and deductible
  7. Skilled Nursing Coinsurance
